Let's Get Radically Real
So, let’s get real for a minute. Life is unpredictable and most individuals want to feel prepared for what’s coming next; that’s understandable. But, what if you were really able to observe life as is, having a calm brain that takes in more accurate information in the moment when it’s needed? This changes the game, because you have a truer perception of reality, you can act in a more effective way, and engage with confidence. The trick is getting to that grounded place that allows you to receive the info. Be a person that is able to observe reality as is, not through the filters that cause us to misinterpret things. When we are dwelling in the past or worrying about the future, we are not in our present. A lot of people bounce between all three, and that is exhausting for the brain. Give your brain a break by letting it just be in the present. Isn’t that where you’d rather be?
Connection is essential to the human experience. Keeping relationships takes real investment, but it doesn’t have to be exhausting. It’s about having a high regard for both your needs and the other person’s needs and finding that balance of give and take. We all need to give. We all need to take. Sometimes, we get off track. We might not know how. Because neurons that fire together also wire together, there have been patterns established, healthy and unhealthy. But, new ones can be made. Your way of engaging in life can look totally different.
